VNP+ launched to collect artifacts for the Project Gallery HIV/AIDS in Vietnam

To preare the 20th aniversary detected cases of HIV infection first in Vietnam, networks of  people living with HIV/AIDS (VNP+) cooperation with the Center for Development Research Community Health (CCRD) and Security Vietnam Museum of Ethnology in collaboration with Columbia University (USA) launched a campaign to collect artifacts in preparation for the Gallery project ion HIV/AIDS in Vietnam.

The Gallery of HIV/AIDS in Vietnam in 2010 will recreate the content of HIV/AIDS in the form of a story told through images, document and artifacts collected at three locations in Hanoi and Dien Bien, Hai Phong, Ho Chi Minh city, which has revived the experience of people with HIV and reproduction of stories about the challenges and difficulties of those working in policy planing, communication, care treatment in the field HIV/AIDS twenty years. By doing so, this exhibit is considered a new type of media in HIV/AIDS – communication and social change through culture.

In Vietnam, ,most information about HIV/AIDS now exists mainly in the form of report and data it is so difficult to access number of the public can participate widely and feedback, assesment, expressed his attiude to HIV/AIDS,, the Gallery will not only provide information on HIV/AIDS, encouraging the widespread debate on the HIV/AIDS in Vietnam, but also re-create the social space of the HIV/AIDS, throug which viewers have the opprtunity to look back in history a period of struggle War on HIV/AIDS 20 years.

To introduce and promote HIV prevention activities, as well as the efforts of the people living with HIV in confronting the HIV epidemic for more than a decade, while honoring groups and individuals had people living with HIV contributed greatly to the fight against HIV/AIDS as well as honor the efforts, the desire to live and will rise to position og people living with HIV. The network of people living with HIV/AIDS in Vietnam (VNP+) coordinate with CCRD and VAAC organized campaign to collect artifacts of the group, people living with HIV has been used to serve for life, such as Case Rooms, prescription, medication compliance tools, articles, free resources, images, works of painting..people living with HIV products made by products such as weaving, embroidery, sewing…

A further operation is VNP+ logo design exhibition of the group, or groups without the logo if it will fill the name of the group’s logo around VNP+.
